Nature Boat Tour on the Teshio River (Keishin Bridge to Bifuka Bridge) – Short Course (Approx. 5 km)

Enjoy a relaxing journey down the beautiful Teshio River aboard our nature boat.

This short course is perfect for families with children, as well as couples and groups of friends looking to experience the peaceful wilderness of northern Hokkaido.

Keep an eye out for White-tailed Eagles soaring overhead, Ezo deer along the riverbanks, and other native wildlife.

Lie back, watch the clouds drift by, and let the gentle current carry you down one of Japan's longest rivers.

We'll also stop along the way to explore the gravel bars, catch small fish, search for fossils, and enjoy the great outdoors together.

Free pick-up and drop-off are available from accommodations in Bifuka and Bifuka Station.

Duration

Approximately 2.5 hours

(The river activity itself lasts about 1 hour.)

Departure Times

① Morning Tour: 9:30 AM – Approximately 12:00 PM

② Afternoon Tour: 1:30 PM – Approximately 4:00 PM

*Transportation time by vehicle is included in the total tour duration.*

The time spent on the river is approximately one hour.

Recommended Clothing

  • Quick-drying outdoor clothing (synthetic fabrics recommended)
  • Long-sleeved shirt
  • Hat or cap
  • Sports sandals with heel straps or athletic shoes that can get wet
